Nitropolis slot tournament

1. Competition Details 

1.1         ELKAB Studios AB (”ELK”, ”ELK Studios”, ”we”), a private company incorporated in Sweden with registered address Centralplan 15, 111 20 Stockholm, is organising a slot Tournament played on the slot game Nitropolis (“the Game”, “the Competition”).

1.2        The Participant in the Competition is you, (“the Participant”)

1.3        The prize is Amazon vouchers awarded according to section 6: Competition Prizes.

2. Legal Undertaking 

2.1        The Competition is open to persons aged 18 years and over, who is actively working in the gambling industry. By signing up you declare and warrant that you are over 18 years of age or such higher minimum legal age as stipulated in the jurisdiction of your residence and are, under the laws applicable to you, legally allowed to participate in this Competition. By signing up, you also declare and warrant that you will have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and that you will be bound by them and by any other requirements set out in any related promotional material.

2.2       ELK will not be held responsible for any participant entering our Competition unlawfully.

3. Competition Entry 

3.1        Availability of the Competition is at the discretion of ELK, entry to the Competition is available via url https://nitropolis.elk-studios.com and ELK shall have absolute discretion on whether an entry is valid.

3.2       In order to enter the Competition, you will need to register an account. This is done by choosing the Nickname (which other Participants will see) along with your email address. Each Participant is only allowed one account.

3.3       ELK reserves the right to refuse or disqualify any Participants if ELK has reasonable grounds for believing that the Participant has controverted any of these Terms and Conditions.

3.4       The Competition is FREE to enter. The Participant will upon registration be given 2 000 EURO as demo-credits to play the Game with. The demo-credits cannot be withdrawn, consumed or in any way transferred to real money. When this free-to-play money is consumed, no more plays can be done from the same account. No real money is used in this Competition and it will not be possible to deposit any real money.

4. Competition Period 

4.1        This Competition will run for a specified period. The Competition will commence on the 27th of October 2020 at 2 pm CET and end on the 2nd of November 2020, at 10 pm CET.

4.2       ELK reserves the right to change the closing date of the Competition if for any reason any aspect of the Competition is not capable of running as planned. In the event that ELK closes the Competition early, the Winner may be selected from all valid and eligible Participants registered prior to the date of closure. ELK reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to close a Competition early without selecting a Winner.

5. Competition End and Winner’s Details 

5.1        The ten (10) Participants with the highest score as presented on the Leaderboard will be eligible for a prize. The prizes will be awarded according to the schedule in section 6.1. ELK will decide a winner of the Competition based on available data at the end of the Competition.

5.2       The Winners will be required to verify their identity, age and employment within the gambling industry before any prize will be paid or delivered. Any failure to meet these obligations may result in the Winner being disqualified and ELK choosing an alternate winner.

5.3       Following receipt and verification of the details requested above by ELK, the Winners will be contacted in order to make arrangements for delivery of the prize.

5.4       ELK will attempt to contact the Winner(s) using the mail address provided to ELK at the time of entry in the Competition. If for any reason the contact information entered is incorrect, ELK will not be held responsible. Participants must carefully check that their contact details have been entered correctly.

5.5       If for any reason ELK is unable to contact a Winner within 5 days (which may be extended at the sole discretion of ELK) at the end of a Competition or the Winner fails to confirm acceptance of the prize or the Winner is disqualified as a result of contravening any of these Terms and Conditions, the Winner will forfeit the prize and it will be awarded to the next eligible Participant.

6. Competition Prizes 

6.1        For the avoidance of doubt, there will be ten (10) prizes awarded for the Competition. These prizes will be based on the Leaderboard and awarded as follows:

6.2       By accepting these Terms and Conditions, The Participant agree to be held responsible for any Tax obligations that may arise from winning a prize.

7. Limits of Liability 

7.1        ELK shall use its best endeavours to award the prize for a Competition to the correct Participant. If due to reasons of hardware, software or other computer-related failures, or due to human error the prize is awarded incorrectly, ELK reserves the right to reclaim the Competition prize and award it to the correct Participant, at its sole discretion and without admission of liability.

7.2       ELK shall not be liable for any economic or other consequential loss suffered or sustained to any persons to whom a prize has been incorrectly made, and no compensation shall be due. ELK shall use its best endeavours to ensure that the software and website(s) used to operate the Competitions perform correctly and accurately across the latest versions of popular internet, tablet and mobile browsers.

7.3       This Competition is governed by Swedish Law and any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with this Competition, shall be finally settled by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce. The language to be used in the arbitral proceedings shall be either English or Swedish.

8. Data Protection Notice 

8.1        Any personal data that you supply to ELK or authorise ELK to obtain from a third party will be used by ELK to administer the Competition and fulfil prizes where applicable. In order to process, record and use your personal data ELK may disclose it to (i); comply with any legal or regulatory requirement of ELK in any country; and (ii) prevent, detect or prosecute fraud and other crime. In order to process, use, record and disclose your personal data ELK may need to transfer such information outside the European Union, in which event ELK is responsible for ensuring that your personal data continues to be adequately protected during the course of such transfer.

9. Changes to these Terms and Conditions 

9.1        From time to time, we may review these Terms and Conditions. You will be notified of any changes via the posting of an updated version on where the Competition is available. All changes will take effect immediately at the date on which we posted the modified terms where the Competition is available. We recommend that you regularly check for changes and that you review these Terms and Conditions when visiting the Competition. If you do not agree with any aspect of the updated Terms and Conditions, you must notify us promptly and cease participating in the Competition.
